Located at 19059 Valley Blvd #111, Bloomington, CA 92316, La Estrella Bakery operates as an asian bakery serving Bloomington in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

OVERPRICED for small size tamales and sweet bread. The prices are outrageous. Also not all bread is made fresh daily, the one I got was hard and stiff. Terrible quality. Small size dry tamale $4.

BEWARE!!! Be careful when buying from here. They over charge!!! I noticed her doing the math in her head and then she tells me the total, it wasn’t adding up! I told her to take the bread out and we’ll count it together and she tells “ok, pero me vas a deber” (ok but you’re going to owe me). We count it and she WAY over charged me!! Didn’t even apologize!! They’re rude and scammers!!!

Tamales use to be good. Now green ones have chunks of chicken and very mushy. Red ones have a different flavor BUT are still ok.

The bread had mold and I ate some of it. The breads felt old and hard. Update: I got food poisoning.
